This new version features a larger
spiral in the air intake and an improved dust bin exhaust port. These
enhancements improve the cyclone's efficiency and virtually eliminate an
area of turbulence at the intake port. A redesigned tapered collection
bin port flange that fits through the collection container lid makes the
use of an inner flange unnecessary when using metal or sufficiently
resilient plastic lids and improves the flow of debris into the
collection bin compared to the previous model.

WHAT IT DOES
The cyclone is designed as a
pre-filter for your vacuum cleaner. It has no moving parts, and nothing
to wear out, clog up or replace. When fitted to a sealed collection
container up to 99% of debris is caught before reaching the vacuum
cleaner filter. No more loss of suction from blocked filters; no more
buying expensive vacuum bags. Ideal for woodworking, plastic and
aluminium machining, concrete, stone or plaster grinding and sanding and
any activity where a vacuum cleaner is used, or can be used, to collect
dust.
