ASC365 Laser Engraving Tutorial
Laser engraving has a wide applatiopn,two-color plank is a engraving board specially for laser engraver, which has two layers ,base layer is made of ABS, upper surface is made of metal powder, widely used in signs, gift medals, decoration, advertising and other industries.Today we will show you how to engrave something on the Two-color plank with our 16"x16" laser engraver step by step. First,you need open the package to assemble the machine,it is very easy, mainly includes the process of Installation fans,Water pump,laser tube has been installed.

Considering the product safety，we use wooden cases and cartons with foam,please open the cases by yourself.

1. Open the electrical box with key or screwdriver.(this model engraver have some small differences on out shell)
2. Fix the fule pipe on the fan with clapms,then install fan to the machine,strech the pipe to the outdoor.
3. Install hose and water pump after you make sure which one is "water in",which one is "water out"
4. Set up an electric circuit for fan and water pump.Attition:the power for fan and water pump must from here, it is AC220V. while for the model without power socket,its fan need contact 220v plug (right picture),its water pump need contact a 110v power.
5.Connect computer and machine with USB cable,please make sure the position of USB interface and try to protect from rough using. Notice:when you install software ,do not connect computer and machine with USB cable
6. Insert softdog USB disk to the computer.(Only insert it to the computer,you can open the Xinlisinlong software to control the machine)
7.Finsh the setup.
8.Turn on the power to check if the water pump and fan are working,and make sure no air buble in the laser tube,if there are some air buble in it, you need to force them out by uplifting one end of machine.
9. After above check,then press the laser button to check this machine can produce laser,if it can shoot laser in right position ,please go ahead,if it can not produce laser or laser in a bad direction, please refer to our manual.
Second,after the machine is set up, then you need to install the driver and software. Attention:during this process,please do not contact computer and engraver with USB cable.
1. Insert CD to the computer and open it.
2. Open the first file "LPC214-XDiver-I..." to install driver.
3. If your coputer is WindowsXP,please open "installxp"and if it is WindowsVista32,please open 'installvista32" AT THIS MOMENT IT CAN NOT COMPAT WITH VISTA 32 AND WIN7 SYSTEM
4. At this time ,you need to back this page ,and double click "Setup"
5. After installation ,two icons will appear on the desktable
9.Double click the NSDE1,(FOR PATENT,PLEASE INSERT THE SAFEDOG ,THEN YOU CAN OPEN THE NSDK1)firstly please check "manual of NSDE1",which will show you how to use this software.
Third,after the installation of software,you can contact the computer and engraver with USB cable,then turn on the power,open the Xinlixinlong software to engrave two-color plank.

Today,we will engrave the word "ASC365" on the two-color plank.According to right photo,input and do some edition to the "ASC365",after 1-5 step edition,cilck 6 to export.
Before engraving,you should do some setting to the property,please click 7.
First the "Device",the working size for this 1616 laser engraving machine is 400x400mm(16"x16"),so please set it less than WXH 400X400,or the laser head will move beyond 400x400,hit the fram border and destory itself. 9 is the Axis for laser head moving direction,please set 9,then it will keep pace with commen direction sensens.
Then the "General",today we plan to engrave some words, so we choose scan to set engraving speed and power.
Now we need to set some specifc engraving featurs 11-13;next click 14 to adjust the position of laser head,then click 15 to make a laser head draw a frame without laser light.Everything is ready,click 16.
When the data is transfered to the engraver, just click 17,now it is working.

Awsome! Enjoy the process... Notice:do not stare at the laser light too long time,and by justing laser power and speed to avoid producing too much smoke and you can close the lid to make the fan exhaust the smoke oudoor.
