Product Usage

Magnetic separators are ideal equipment for removing  magnetizable  solid particles from liquids, such as for purifying cooling fluids (cutting or emulsions) in grinding machines and other machine tools.

The magnetic drum of the separator sucks out the iron filings from the coolant, keeping the coolant clean. The use of a magnetic separator can reduce the number of grinding wheel corrections, improve the surface roughness of the  workpiece , extend the service life of the grinding wheel and coolant, and reduce the labor intensity of workers and the pollution of waste coolant to the environment.

Structural Principles

The magnetic separator consists of a reducer and a magnetic roller. The reducer drives the magnetic roller to rotate through gears, and the magnetic roller is equipped with a permanent strong magnet. The iron filings in the cooling liquid are adsorbed on the surface of the magnetic roller sleeve. The pressure roller squeezes out the cooling liquid in the iron filings and flows back to the liquid tank. The iron filings are scraped off by the scraper and discharged into the dirt tank.
