Product Overview |
The common rail diesel high pressure tester kit uses a high pressure gauge(2000 bar) and high pressure flexible hoses to detect the actual pressure in the high pressure circuit of the common rail system. High quality material, easy to carry and store, wide range of use. |

Product Features & Advantages |
1. Wide range of
applications: Suitable for a variety of measurements, such
as engine cranking/running pressure test, maximum pump pressure
test, pump pressure regulator test, injector leakage test. 2. High quality material: Made of high quality material, rust and corrosion resistance, longer service life. 3. Easy to carry: The use of plastic box packaging, small size, light weight, can be moved to the need to work at any time, saving time and effort. 4. Pressure-proof and dust-proof: When it is not needed, the measuring tool can be stored in a plastic box in time for dust-proof and pressure release. 5. Accurate measurement: The measurement results are accurate, the recycling is smooth, and the results can be quickly judged. |
Test method |
Engine cranking/running pressure test Step
1- Connect the instrument to the high-voltage circuit of the
vehicle. Step 2-
Locate the high-pressure line from the pump to the fuel
distributor. If inaccessible, look for a line from the fuel
distributor to the fuel injection valve. Step
3 Step 4
Step 5 |
Maximum pump pressure test When the pressure is too low, the high pressure pump shuts off the third piston. They use only two pistons and have lower engine power requirements. When 600-700 bar is reached, the third piston is activated by a magnet. Step 1- Connect the meter to the high-voltage circuit of the vehicle. This means that the engine cannot be started and the test is only carried out when the engine is running. The pressure should rise above 1050 bar, which indicates that the pump is working properly.
Step 2- Locate high
pressure line from pump to fuel distributor. If inaccessible,
look for a line from the fuel distributor to the fuel injection
valve. Step 3- Connect the diesel waste fixtures (5) with the hose at the bottom of the meter. When the overpressure valve is activated, the bottle collects excess fuel. Step 4- Start the engine. The pressure quickly rose to over 1050bar. This means the pump is working properly. If the pressure value is low, it indicates that the pump or pressure regulator is faulty. Run pump pressure control tests to identify problems. Note: A problem with the pressure sensor (located on the fuel distribution line) may send incorrect information to the PCmut, which will pass incorrect information to the pressure controller, causing the controller to open prematurely. This results in low pressure. Use the EOBD tool with real-time data and compare the actual pressure of the gauge with the measurement results of the EOBD tool. |
Injector leakage test Fuel injector tubes are designed for use with gauges and hoses. When the pump pressure is less than 300bar, this test should be carried out; Vehicle will not start.By closing the injector tube, it is possible to determine whether the pressure loss is due to an injector failure (opening the injector). Step 1-
In the absence of pressure fuel, disconnect the high-pressure
line from the injector and install the injector tube tube (4). |
